I decided that the borad game i will produce for Roma will be based on the end of the world- how it is referred to in the Bilble. For the format i decided to concentrate on the four horses of the apocalypse, their colours and what they represent which is also quite similar to the ludo borad game.

African Woman And Child

This is a painting by an artist called Kevin Stevenson. I hadn't seen this painting before and thought that i would chose it as it stirs up new emotion, rather than chosing a picture from memory.
I chose this pictutre because to me it symbolises love, a mother's love for her children and the unconditional love of a parent.
I feel that Stevenson has acheived his goal in evoaking feelings of love and warmth within this picture in a number of ways.

The primary focus seems to be the mother as she is depicted as a strong figure, in stature and without husband/ man. He has also used very wram, welcoming colours which i think also reinforce this feeling.
